Finally! :D
I have been following this site since it was first opened. But as I am Danish, I have absolutely no clue whatsoever as to what goes on in this very active forum!

Now I'm in too!
Keep well!

Bo, I am happy that you like this idea. We are also planning to translate the WHOLE tatraportal to english, but that will take some time...

I am wondering how many other english speaking people are here to get the discussion started :-)

Well, I'm member of the two Tatra-related forums on Yahoo! which are both in English:
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/tatra/
and
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/tatra-l/
Both are very lively, but Yahoo!-groups do not have the division in subjects that this forum does, which makes specific subjects very difficult to trace.

With a little luck, many of the users from these forums will show up here, once the word gets around. I just hope that the users of the Slovak forum will have some fun with this too and post some threads.

We are currently a mere 8 Tatra-owners in Denmark and even though most of us are experienced do-it-yourself mechanics, we are bound to run into some kind of trouble every once in a while. And then it would be invaluable to have access to a forum with so many other owners (who must have gone through the same problems?). I know I certainly have some issues with my car that I would like to discuss with others!
Keep well!

I hope they will... It would be really great to have many Tatra fans under "one hood" at Tatraportal.com - also TATRAPORTAL.COM will oben the english version automatically from tommorow on...

I am also sure that many guys here from Slovakia and Czech republic will join the discussion as they did several times in English language. We just need some topics to start with. I am sure it will come...

I see in your profile you have a T613-4... Is that an M95 ? Or a Long ?

My car was originally a T613-4 Mi Long, first registered January 10'th 1995. However, this spring it was refurbished and now has the outer features of a M95 or T613-5.

I have put the history of the car along with a few pictures under the subject "Stories".
